Matthew Good - Master of Irony
About halfway through the new video for Matthew Good's latest opus, "Weapon," a line floats by the screen. It reads:
that was boring
A little while later Mr. Good and his band are shot facing the camera. The caption reads
a) standard video rock composition
The chorus for the song, which is so good he repeats it about twenty times, is
here by my side it's heaven
here by my side you're destruction
Whenever I hear this song, my eye twitches.

Attack of the Clones
I finally saw the "big" Yoda fight scene that everyone was buzzing about, and I almost laughed my pop out my nose. How ridiculous was that? Christopher "Saruman" Lee up against a flying green midget, who, judging from his facial contortions, is constipated. The bigger battle scenes managed to look less real than the beautiful minatures from Empire; LOTR easily whips this movies ass in terms of scope and dedication to character. So why should we care? Because the Jedi Knights are so damn cool. Someone needs to stop this man from destroying one of the best character ideas, ever. At the very least make him get a scriptwriter so we don't have to endure two and half more hours of, "I'm in charge of security, m' lady." Yikes.
