The days are getting longer now. I can actually feel my mood lifting as I think about Spring and Summer (and the end to substitute teaching for another year!). 27 approaches on swift wings.

Last Friday I went to an information session for Ailanthus, a kind of incentive program for inner-city children. It was hosted by Linda Bentall, and she was some kinda firecracker. While a lot of what she said struck me hard, one thing in particular is still resonating with me. She said that if you're tired and worn out, you're in the wrong place. I'm tired and worn out all the time. Which means...
