The Goodness of Bikes

I bought my first bike in 1994 but never really became a "rider." Every so often I would take the bike out and ride around, but no more than once every two weeks. Recently a friend has become obsessed with bikes (he went from no bikes eight months ago to as many as six) and his enthusiasm has rekindled my great love for the self-powered steeds. Now it looks like Lani has gotten the bug as well.

As an early birthday present Lani bought me a Schwinn Cruiser. It weighs about 50 pounds, but the key is the seat - cushy. We went for a ride on Sunday and I carried the picnic in my front basket. Ah bikes...
