Poverty is looming over me like four more years of Bush in office. I am POOR. Of course, I am also not homeless, starving, and I have a car. And clothes. About twenty pairs of shoes...nevermind. I'm not poor.

I have been poor, a long time ago, but I was too young to remember. And even then I still had a house and food and friends and parents who loved me. Basically I've been blessed my entire life, and I have no idea what I would have done had the situation been different. I don't seem to deal with any kind of hardship very well.

An elementary school teacher played radiohead songs for her class, then had them draw what they "saw" while the songs played. So good, so very, very good.
