I think I flamed on the LSAT, or at least on one of the sections - Logic Games. Apparently they are a relatively new addition. Before, people just had to be able to read and think a little. But now I need to know who is sitting at the table between Yuan and Ziegfried, and whether or not they ate the Halibut or Inagi. Fuck.
I showed up at 8:15 and we waited until eighty people were standing in this crowded ass hall, then they shepherded us through the doors to another room - not before giving us each a brown card or a green card. Brown one way, green the other, and then about half-an-hour of monotone rules and regulations, sounding for all the world like 1984. The proctor (is that a freaky name or what), was bored out of his skull and kept apologizing for what he was reading which made it JUST EXCELLENT. And he kept refering to action that could be taken by the LSAC sub-committee on Free Thought and Individualistic Tendencies. Or something like that.
So I cruised through the first section and the second section I pegged as the experimental. But the third section...oh, my. Froze up. I could feel the paralysis starting at my fingers and working its way up through my neck and into my head.
An online survey of KAPLAN students I took after the test said that 69% of those polled found the Logic Games section the hardest. So there may be hope for me yet.
