Last Thursday I went to an "audition" for Kaplan, the prep centre where I studied for the LSAT. When hiring new teachers they have you come in and present a five-minute lesson on the topic of your choice. I picked haiku writing. There were only three other guys with me. A British guy named Kevin told us about thermals. Steven prepared us for long-haul flights. And after watching Mike I can now assess people for heart attacks. It seems that everyone who teaches at Kaplan either has or is working on their Masters or PhD, so I felt a little out of place. But I guess the other guys sucked, cause I am now an employee of Kaplan. Unfortunately it won't be enough to allow me to quit TOCing.
